Junior / Mid-level Designer

YDI is a Baltimore-based graphic design studio focused in branding and experiential design. We’re looking for a creative, motivated, and dynamic graphic designer to add to our team. You will be a key part of a small creative studio that’s tackling projects big and small here locally and across the country. Our clients span a range of fields including sports, hospitality, development, retail and non-profit.

Responsibilities:

• create and collaborate with team members to design engaging branding, signage, and environments
• participate in client meetings, site walks, and group critiques
• be comfortable working independently to meet deadlines
• provide support to senior designers and project managers

Qualifications:

• bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field
• ability to think through design problems and arrive at elegant solutions
• strong verbal and written communication skills
• strong typography skills
• compelling visual & verbal presentation skills
• proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• interest in experiential graphic design is a plus
• experience in Sketch-Up or other 3D rendering programs is a plus
