Two Point Oh!

Yard Work

YDI recently completed work for the San Francisco Giants on a shipping container project for the early activation zone of Mission Rock. Our first task was to help them name the project. They were looking for a name that tied baseball into the shipping history of the neighborhood.

YDI and Chicago Cubs prep Sloan Park for opening day

Younts Design Inc works with the Chicago Cubs again this year to help integrate a new naming partner as well as a new round of experiential graphics into their spring training facility in Mesa, Arizona. This year the stadium opens as Sloan Park home of the Chicago Cubs.

YDI helping the Dodgers bring a little LA to AZ

Younts Design Inc was asked to help add a little of the Dodgers look and feel that we established for Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles to the Spring Training facility in Glendale, Arizona. Camelback Ranch opened on March 1, 2009 for the Spring Training home for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox.

The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of

While in LA this week, YDI had the pleasure of stopping by one of the fabricators for Dodger Stadium. One of our favorite parts of the job is visiting sign shops to see where our designs become reality. This particular day we visited the Warner Brothers Studio Facilities in Burbank, California. They have one of the largest fabrication facilities in the country with an incredible range of talents and lucky for us, WB’s services are not limited to the motion-picture industry.
