The new “G” Icon is an abstract mark that alludes to a 3-dimensional form. It references the company’s architectural metalwork and furniture design, while still retaining familiar elements of Gutierrez Studios’ previous branding such as its squared corners. This flexible mark can stretch to appear as a steel beam, or multiply as a textural pattern.
The new mark lends a striking brand presence to all types of physical collateral. It works well on its own as a stand-in for the Gutierrez Studios name, or repeated as an abstract pattern with different variations.
The Guiterrez website, designed by YDI, features a clean and minimalist design, allowing the images to take center stage. A search feature makes it easy to browse the studio’s large portfolio of completed projects. Typographic hierarchy reinforces the Gutierrez brand and provides a narrative flow.
Smooth transitions between galleries of photos showcase Gutierrez Studios’ work, and allow for effortless navigation even on smaller screens. Key project details are presented clearly, ensuring that the page’s design not only informs but also elevates the showcased work.
